At one point Luke and Leia swing over a chasm, and Priscilla finds herself wishing that Leia had been holding onto Han, and not Luke, as they went from one side to the other. Maybe it’s because she wants that for herself. She wants to be the princess in a white, flowing dress, clinging to Elvis as he rescues her from danger, and secure in the knowledge he will save her.

My Mother had been a religious woman since my father ran off. Leaving us abandoned in a state we weren't so familiar with. Dads' job made us move around a lot. Country to country. State to state, county to county. It was the 50s' so having no Dad around made it rough. My only comfort was my music- records my mom loved- some my dad sent to me. But- that's alright. Cause I met him.

I'm not a huge Elvis fan- BUT! I do write well, and I do research important details. It won't be seriously detailed- in the way about chronological timeline specific alters of Elvis' life. Y/N is genuinely 'not like other girls' because it's the 50s! If you want me to write about socialized sexualization and conformity then- you're wrong. Y/N is an educated, perceptive, and sees men, women, children, POC ect as equals- keep in mind this is the 50s,
