Summary
After years of working for the people who lied about bringing back his lover's soul from the Underworld, Peter Nureyev is walking towards the city of Hyperion to end it once and for all. But when his plan quickly go sideways, he is confused when he's given a chance to redeem himself and buy back his freedom.
There is a monster living in the montains - a beautiful woman with snakes for hair and a deadly stare who terrorised the population for over a century - and he has been tasked with the quest of slaying her.
With a sword in hand and a mirror in the other, he marches to Medusa's lair in the hopes his ingenuity will be enough to do what none others have done before, but when he arrives in her garden he is left with many questions. Where is Medusa, and who is this blind man currently living in her lair?

My racing thoughts fell silent when Juno’s head turned and he seemed to look straight into my very soul. He had that familiar scowl on his face, the one that meant he was slotting the final piece into the puzzle, “I have to… go,” he said distractedly and his voice, hearing it was the sweetest torture, “I mean, exit. Stage right.” he scrambled off stage and out of my sight. My heart ached tremendously; Juno would be rushing into the tech booth in a minute, but I would be gone long before that.
Unless… My feet had carried me back to the window but… perhaps I should stay. Perhaps there was no way to get through to him without speaking face to face. If that last entry in the journal had not been enough to deter him, perhaps it might begin to sink in if he heard it from me directly.'

Namely, the Dokana group refused his letter of resignation and has instead chosen to imprison him. He's forced to deal witth the consequences, but he never imagined that Juno would turn up.
