Summary

The priest realises that the danger they are about to face cannot be overturned by a mere cross.
It's a danger beyond imagination.
Armed by the desire to save the people, he sets out on a journey with his apprentice.
They discover a prophecy.
Originally, they do not believe the prophecy to be true. After all, how could the recluse architect of their town be prophesied to control the vampire that would haunt them? Besides, he was quite young.
However, when danger inches closer and threatens to obliterate them all, they send the unsuspecting and clueless young architect to the vampire, like a sheep being sent to a lion's den.
They do not know quite what to expect, but they surely don't expect the villain to become unnaturally fascinated with his prey.
They can never, in their wildest dreams, expect the innocent and naive prey to turn on them and become a gumiho.
A game of push-and-pull ensues, and does anyone come out victorious in the end? -

Minho watches between his outstretched fingers, the proximity blurring out their details, as Chris's eyebrows crease. And he feels rather than sees when the vampire licks from the pulse point under the pad of his thumb all the way up to his ring finger. Open-mouthed, Minho sees the flash of red on his tongue before he dips back to do it all over again with the other hand.
It is a sight, to watch something so hungry for scraps. To watch a wretched being thirstily lick his palms clean just to feed himself. The low hums he's letting out as he drags the flat bed of his cold, stiff tongue against Minho's warm, bleeding palms sound like gratitude.

The whisper grew, echoing off the broken walls, building to a crescendo, the staccato of panting breaths keeping in rhythm with the wind’s urgent cry. Moonlight flashed in faded blue eyes as they turned pleading to the moon above.

Their prison of Red Lights left behind them, Chan and Hyunjin follow a call as they desperately seek to escape the burning world around them, guided by the moon and their love for each other. Involves my own loose interpretation of wolf and moon mythology.
