    Summary

    So, it seems to be the general consensus that Constantine just doesn't really work in a super setting. That everything after he got merged into the general DCU was terrible and poorly written, and that it's impossible to make him work with supers.

    And as much as I agree everything after he got added to the DCU was terrible, I disagree that it's impossible to do it right.

    So I figured I'd give it a shot. To retell several of my favourite Hellblazer stories, but with involvement and significant crossover with other DCU characters, concepts and settings, starting with an (very) extended version of issue #140, and moving on to The Family Man.

    I'm hoping to do a total of five 9 chapter stories, 40,000 words each, with the first four being loosely connected and readable alone, but with a big climax story that ties off all the plot points properly at the end. Once I'm done with The Family Man, I'll be doing Son of Man, The Golden Child arc... and then the climax, the details of which shall remain secret, for now.
