There’s a tumblr post where people can “build a fic” by giving authors a line of dialogue, a feeling and a trope along with some characters/relationships.
I had received three asks when first writing this summary but I am happy to say I now have gotten closer to seven! And I’d still love to get more lol. But either way I’ve decided to just put them all in one fic on here along with just posting them on tumblr. So it’s pretty much a specific kind of one shot collection. Stp themed and hopefully full of hurt/comfort because thats my lifeblood. :3 just be patient with me please

It's been a long while since they killed the Princess. Maybe they're ready to start moving on! Well, now there's an egg on their floor that appeared out of nowhere. Guess they have to deal with that now.
A sequel to my first STP fic, "It's probably hard to process grief with 11 other voices in your head". Does this make sense without the context of that fic? Maybe! It does set up several things that are explored here as well as exploring other things entirely, though.

That affection can persist even in the Voices and Perspectives that make up their smallest pieces, as many stories have shown us; we've seen the Voice of the Smitten paired up with the Damsel. The Voice of the Cold with the Spectre. The Voice of the Cheated with the Razor. The Voice of the Paranoid with the Nightmare. We've even seen the Voice of the Hero shack up with the so-called "base Princess."
Booooring.
This collection is for stories featuring new and different Voice/Perspective couplings, particularly ones that have been unfairly glossed over.

A Whumptober work with One-Shot's about the Voices from Slay The Princess. Not that many people are exploring the wide range of possibilities that come from these characters, and so I came up with backstories for each of them with the help of the prompts from this year, along with other scenarios for after the finale when The Long Quiet and The Shifting Mound leave together, the voices deciding to not interfere.
It's never specified, but I headcannon that the Voices are still inside TLQ's mind, just kept away from the outside world and out of contact with their host.

Immortality cursed him. He can't remember when, nor how, but his eternal life is anchored by a contract etched in the skin of his back. Forever a pleasure performer for aspirations, housed by a fellow (supposedly) celestial conscience, his heart fails to wrap around fantasy and reality.
He never foresaw the arrival of unusual phantoms welcoming a massive change to his existence. It's up to him whether he deems it positive.
(Translation: Hero gets screwed [literaly] and becomes a dedicated prostitute under a contract in the ghost world. Can this be considered Isekai idfk fam.)

Smitten is synonymous with fire, burning and bright and passionate. He is the way their eyes must have shined in the firelight when the princess stared down the stairs at them- a hope for reconciliation and love even in violence. He is the bright torches that light their way down to their star crossed lover. He is the gleam of metallic blades. He is the fire that left room for thorny vines to grow in the place of distrust.
-He’s also torches lining the wall of a grand room. He’s also the shadow they cast.
-He cooks, he warms, he lights the way.
-He burns.He refuses to place his burdens on those he loves, he refuses to worry them by letting them see him return to the large but exhausted thing that wants to inflict itself on others.
The dark of his room, the blackout curtains nobody ever sees closed enough to know that’s what they are. They become a sanctuary. There is comfort in the dark, in pretending to not exist.
But perhaps the comfort of his flock doesn’t have to exclude the soothing darkness.
Aka Smitten headcanons I’ve had for a while combined with thoughts I had on my HAE design and here we are! Hurt comfort! :D well mostly just hurt for the first part but! Comfort is imminent!
