Summary
Sans mistakes an orange glow in the forest for a human soul...
Shenanigans ensue; pun are learned... so many puns...This is just a collection of Grillby and Sans being friends as kids and staying friends as they grow.
Grillby and Gaster do mostly talk in sign language, but I don't know sign language myself so I may include words that do not exist in sign language, but I am trying my best. Stuff said in sign language will be in italics because I find it a bit easier myself.

Summary
If Sans was really awake while his dad carried him to bed, savoring the feeling of being held like he had when he was younger, Gaster would never know.
And if Gaster dreamt of tests, drills, and the sound of his two favorite kids in the underground screaming for help while he hurt them…
Well, the boys never had to know.
AKA a few nightmares send Gaster spiraling, and a failed experiment lands him in a new universe completely.

Summary
“You really like him, don’t you?” I felt how he put his arm around my waist. That’s what I can only assume to be an advanced-level dance position. Im nervous.
“Of course, I'm the royal scientist dear, figure it would be the obvious.” He noticed how I was unsure of where to place my free hand, so he guided it to his shoulder. “I have been at his service since….” The song was over, he took too long to ask me to dance, and now a different song was about to start.
“Since?”
“Since the war.” The new song began; it was passionate, and apparently he also liked this one because the dance was already starting.

It had been more than a year since he put away the machine. It was pointless, after all. He was never going to fix it. He was never going to find who he was looking for.

It just doesn't work the way he was expecting.

“The specimen has opened its eyes. It seems to be cognizant? After a few minutes of looking around it started to cry, and reached out with the apparent desire to be comforted.
It seems to have an actual, fully-functioning soul.
This is... unexpected. The plans will have to be modified.”

Summary
The Underground was supposed to be a place of safety, but genocide followed the monsters down when one of their own turned on them. The King is dead. Gaster is in exile. Queen Toriel struggles to keep a remnant of monsterkind hopeful in the darkness. Then, one day, a child falls through the barrier and is found by an unlikely monster.

Summary
These days the King is more interested in weird metaphysical biology than physics, which means that Dr. Gaster's project to build a decent generator is not only woefully underfunded, but he has to deal with cruddy technology short-circuiting and exploding constantly. He'll have to pick a team, and indicatively, one of the applicants only has one HP. And he blows up Gaster's office during their "interview."
May or may not contain: tea-drinking, depression, cats, anxiety, swearing, annoying dogs, death and near-death, gravity related injuries, conflicted Asgore, a non-Gaster Royal Scientist, crumbs of Toaster, humans, platonic Sanster, honorary science daughter Alphys, PICK UP YOUR SOCK SANS, unfriendly eldritch critters that don't like the monsters living in their caves, snarky fire elementals, monster souls and their curious properties, odd skeleton behaviors, magic malfunctions, and spatio-temporal displacement.
Gaster as a friendly derp boss monster physicist who for once isn't interested in breaking the Barrier.
Sans as an angst-ridden smol fragile marshmallow with malfunctioning magic.
Alphys as the voice of reason that Gaster does not internally have.
THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS ALSO HERE!

Summary
Toriel promised herself she would never leave the Ruins, but she left anyway. Just for a short time. Just long enough to gather supplies. But this time, she leaves a bit earlier, and when she sneaks into the laboratory of one W.D. Gaster, she finds three skeletons instead of two.
One old skeleton, who will always be a boy in her eyes, and two little ones, with bright, innocent eyes and hands untouched by metal plates.
Based on the "momplates" AU of Zarla's "Handplates" - also an AU of my own fic, Butterscotch and Bones.
