"Um, I heard... I-I heard Dipper over the radio." Mabel hiccuped, and stared at her hands clenched in her lap. More tears welled up in her eyes, and it felt like there was a rock in her throat. She didn't want to think about it anymore, but then Grunkle Stan gently tilted her head back up so he could look her in the face. He looked so calm and serious, and it reassured Mabel that her great-uncle knew what he was doing. He would be able to fix things, she just knew it.
