It was only after their fight at Ground Beta that every illusion he had about his relationship with Bakugou Katsuki crumbled beneath his feet, leaving only the cold, harsh truth behind:
Bakugou may have been his childhood friend first, but he was his bully for much longer.
Naturally, everything changed after that. The nickname ‘Kacchan’ became a distant memory, just a reminder of everything that Bakugou had ever done to him, and Izuku was finally ready to move on. He even managed to convince himself that he didn’t care that Bakugou never apologised. That he was fine.
And then he got hit by a quirk which bound him to Bakugou, and suddenly things got a whole lot more complicated.

The second problem? Merle won't leave her alone. He insists that he will literally haunt her entire family if she doesn't help him resolve some kind of weird conflict concerning his death. And for some reason it concerns his brother, too. So Beth has no choice but to confront and try to convince the living—and extremely stubborn—Daryl Dixon to not only believe her, but also help her.
Admittedly, she has no idea what she's getting herself into. And who could? A fake psychic's cryptic advice, a bunch of brotherly angst, a mysterious Swamp Witch, a deal with a demon, a battle against time for the fate of two souls, and a shit ton of repressed childhood trauma. Oh, and on top of all that... the relentless Merle Dixon and his ever enlightening commentary.

Shane went with the others to Atlanta. He is the one to cuff Merle to the roof. Rick arrives in Atlanta just a little later, and comes across the trapped Dixon. An unlikely friendship forms over the lengths of far too many road trips in order to catch up to their respective families, who they keep missing due to circumstances and poor timing. While two different groups of survivors form, and friendships and families are built, two people fall in love with each other, without even having met. (spoiler alert: it's Rick and Daryl. :-) XD ) -
