Everyone knows the basics of the three sub-genders.
Alphas:
The dominant members of the pack. Overpowering physical strength, leadership qualities, and aggressive behaviour when the time comes for it.Betas:
The neutral or average members of the pack.Omegas:
Omegas are the submissive members of the pack, characterized by their nurturing roles and reproductive capabilities
But there is one thing people often forget about Omegas. They can be the most deadly - if their pup is in danger, it can trigger a feral episode. An Omega will go into a trance like state with the only goal being to destroy the threat.
And what is the only thing that can get the Omega out of that trance? Well, their Alpha of course.So… what happens when one day while the 118 and all their kids are celebrating Jee-Yun’s fifth birthday at the local park, a rogue Alpha decides to try attacking Christopher? What happens when Buck goes feral and kills the man?

Summary
For months, Buck has been professionally harassed over dispatch by one infuriatingly calm operator with a smug voice, a superiority complex, and a deeply concerning habit of calling him sweetheart over an active emergency line.
Buck hates him.
Obviously.
Then he meets Eddie Diaz in person and unfortunately discovers that the smug voice comes with stupidly nice hands, unfair eye contact, and a thirteen-year-old son who immediately decides Buck is his problem now.
Worse, Eddie gets weirdly possessive every time someone else looks at Buck too long.
Worse than that, Buck likes it.
And when a bad call turns into a building collapse and Eddie has to listen to Buck trapped beneath it over an open dispatch line, suddenly none of it feels like a joke anymore.
Or: Buck and Eddie fall in love while arguing over city emergency communications, and literally everyone is tired of them.

Summary
“Okay, we need a game plan.” Eddie slaps his palms down on the table harshly, causing Chim to drop his fork again. “You take Maddie, I take Buck, and we figure out a way to make sure neither of them get into any stupid fights.”
Hen raises an eyebrow. “You’re going to dinner with the Buckleys?”
Eddie nods. “Of course I am, Buck asked me to.” Well, Buck had suggested it would be easier if Eddie were there and Eddie had all but leapt at the opportunity. “I’m not going to leave him to do this alone.”
“We’ll be there!” Chimney chimes in.
Eddie waves a hand dismissively. “You know what I mean.”
“Do we?” Hen asks incredulously and Eddie shoots her a glare.
“Look, Buck already cleared it with Maddie. They’re a united front, and you and I need to be one too.”
Or, five times Buck and Eddie are compared to another couple, and one time they comparison gets... a little too real.

Summary
Since Eddie left, they’ve been talking non-stop every single day. This unsettling silence doesn’t make any sense – Buck is sure something must’ve happened. Eddie sounded so happy last time they talked because things with his son were finally getting better. There had been a real light in his voice, the kind Buck could recognize even underwater. So, he doesn’t know what might’ve made him vanish into thin air as if he were a ghost. It could be anything, and Buck is scared shitless. It’s a nightmare and Buck can’t seem to wake up from it.
Or the one where Buck goes to his best friend's rescue in Texas, and shit happens.
