Summary
Dream has been a thorn in George’s side since they first crossed paths. Of all the people George has been tasked with hunting down, Dream is the most evasive, clever, and infuriatingly snarky target ever. Chasing after him almost went from a simple job to an obsession — one that had him recruit Sapnap, Bad, and eventually even Sam as a fourth hunter to track him down.
Dream’s most recent trail leads them down into an abandoned mineshaft, where an unfortunate accident drops them down into the deepest bowels of the earth. Trapped in the dark, George has to untangle increasingly complicated feelings while they have to work together to find their way out past something horrifically otherworldly that’s lurking in the shadows.

He really didn’t know where that had come from, the warmth and closeness pulling his thoughts straight off his tongue, but George’s mouth parted sweetly and his cheeks were bright pink and Dream didn’t regret a thing.
“Why?” George breathed, smiling a little, like he was trying not to but couldn’t quite manage it.
Dream was tingly all over. “Because I like it.”
Dream gets sick and George, to his amazement, is actually very soft and caring about it. Surely nothing life-changing will come of this.

Dream accidentally tells Karl about his recent decision to date men. More importantly, he's worried that he doesn't know how to do it. Karl, being the good friend he is, offers to provide him 'lessons' with some of their friends as the guinea pigs. Everyone agrees to help.
Everyone except George, who doesn't want anything to do with Karl's plan. Dream doesn't understand, George isn't talking, and Sapnap is ready to strangle one of them before Karl's class is over.

George has known and that fucker has been using it to his advantage. He doesn't plan on telling Sapnap about that, it doesn't matter right now, he just needs help.
"Is it too soon for me to like... y'know," Dream says, "catch feelings?"

Summary
Two years after the outbreak of a zombie apocalypse that shut down society across the globe, a group of survivors live in turmoil that has little to do with the monsters that forced them all together. As it turns out, the end of the world tends to bring out the worst in people.
Tensions have been steadily rising since Wilbur’s death and Tommy’s exile from the group. For once, the various factions that have sprung up since Wilbur’s initial insurrection aren’t in imminent danger of attack, as Dream seems to be withdrawing, reevaluating his strategy.
That’s not to say anyone feels safe. Least of all George and Sapnap, who are the only ones bearing direct witness to Dream’s increasingly strange and violent behavior. They make the decision to separate from him. For a few short weeks, it seems like George might finally be able to let his guard down.
Then he and Sapnap wake up far, far away from home.
Disclaimer- While this borrows heavily from the storyline of the SMP and the relationships that those characters have with each other, there are also some key differences. This is a real life AU, not in-game.

With tournaments, Technoblade, and the administration all standing between him and what he wants, how far will Dream go to protect those he cares about?
