Madara Uchiha wasn’t a stranger to the concept of love and war.
His whole childhood was surrounded by it. Being an Uchiha meant being at war; for their lives, for their clan, and for their future. On the other hand, being an Uchiha also meant to love. Love was as natural as breathing, as important as anything else. As an Uchiha, war was an act of love, and to love meant being willing to go to war.
(So, perhaps it shouldn’t have been a surprise that he would find love in war, too)

Perhaps Liu Qingge should have been paying attention to the meeting instead of thinking about certain head disciple, but who could blame him? Yue Qingyuan was the ideal that everyone should follow, his only flaw being his shameless bias towards Shen Qingqiu.
Ugh, whatever. It wasn't like a couple of days helping at the Qing Jing Peak library would change much, even if it meant having to be around someone like Shen Qingqiu.

Blue eyes immediately appeared inside his room, bringing a galaxy with them. Suguru couldn’t help but gasp, awe replacing fear and anger. The eyes turned to him, almost like they were smiling.
Suguru gulped. “You… you’re not like the other monsters.”
The voice laughed. “We’re not monsters, Suguru,” it said. “We are curses.” The eyes danced around him. “You’re so interesting. I have never seen a curse manipulator before.”
“Curse manipulator?” Suguru asked. “What does that mean?”
“Your little friends? The ones you call monsters? They are curses, Suguru.” The eyes moved behind him, and Suguru followed them. “You control them.”
“Are… are you a curse, too?” He asked, hesitant.
“I am.” The eyes almost shone in amusement. “And you’re a sorcerer.”

Tim closes his eyes, calculating. Based on the energy involved for a one week reset, he’s looking at a minimum displacement of about five years for the copy. His eyes sting as he fully grasps that if this works, one Tim will get to reunite with his friends and family, hold them and speak to them again, and work together to unleash all the contingencies and strategies he’s come up with to kick those invading alien assholes the fuck out, and the other Tim, the copy… won’t. He’ll wake up somewhen, isolated and traumatized, without friends, family, or any allies at all.
Well, shit. Whatever, at least Other Tim will know it worked. And he’s never minded the idea of sacrificing himself to save others. He confirms the calibration of the device, and pushes the big red button. Of fucking course there’s a big red button, supervillains are so predictable.
His last thought as the lights explode in his head and he tastes color is I hope computers are a thing whenever Other Tim lands. I’d hate to be put on trial for witchcraft. Fuck it, if I overshoot I’m gonna ride a goddamn dinosaur. Hell. Yes.

Summary
Tim Drake never actually wanted to become part of the Robin-Batman-vigilante outfit. No, really. But the last Robin up and died, and now Batman is going crazy, and no one else is doing anything about it, so...Tim decides to become Robin. He might as well, right? At the very least it'll give him something to do while his parents are gone.
Still, Tim's not taking up the mantle until he can put a couple of things in order. Step one? Making sure the Joker can't get it into his head to kill another Robin. Not ever again. (Good thing Tim's not the one with a 'no killing' rule.)
And then after that? Well, after that it's only just a matter of keeping Batman from learning Tim's identity and subsequently chasing him off. Not until Bruce can get back on his feet and pick a new Robin, a real one this time. Easy-peasy.
