All this time, Xavier and Rafayel hadn’t exchanged more than the bare minimum; cordial nods of greeting and farewell, plus the occasional moment of teaming up to gang up on their lovers. It wasn’t much, but it was a quiet, unspoken truce between them. Of course, their meddling little fox couldn’t just leave it at that. Naturally, she had to interfere and start matchmaking.
(This time, Zayne would like to clarify that he knows absolutely nothing about any of this. He’s been far too busy with paperwork regarding policies to support interns' quality of life within the hospital.)
