Summary
After a tumultuous childhood in foster care, the Aniseya twins' paths diverged: Osha aged out of the system and built a respectable if unfulfilling life... while Mae tumbled headlong onto a destructive path that her sister has long since lost any hope of saving her from.
At least until Osha receives a frantic call from the hospital — a call that threatens to upend her relationship with her sister forever, even as it introduces her to a strange man who seems to have the knowledge about Mae's life Osha is desperate for.
As Mae begins a long, painstaking recovery, Osha tries to find the space to heal alongside her and learn to forgive the sins of the past... with a new, unlikely, possibly-dangerous, and frustratingly-charming ally in tow.
