    Summary

The light vibration in his throat as he tried to speak was missing. Like his vocal cords had completely given up on him.

Grian looked back at the two suspected culprits with wide eyes, trying to hide the way his right hand was trembling on his neck.

“I had hoped it would not come to this”, the left one spoke, the voice still devoid of emotion. “You have been chosen. You are to become one of Us. And Watchers do not speak.”

After being trapped in the End by two Watchers, Grian is faced with a harsh reality.

Watchers don’t have bodies. They only are consciousnesses floating in the universe, meant to observe and guide, possessing power to help Them in doing so. That doesn’t stop Them from making Grian one of Them.

Having lost everything, all Grian wants is to return to those he cares about. Unfortunately Watcher power doesn’t come without a price.

Or, the journey of a lone avian-turned-Watcher trying to get back what he has lost.

Very interesting concept and very long- I love the deep dive into becoming a watcher, as well as the role the watchers play, and Grians conflict with his lack of humanity/playerhood, while also being the most ‘human’ being in this realm of Eyes. It’s a very conflicting narrative, as we as players understand and like the updates for the most part that we get, and yet in this story, they’re not aware that these things they get are created from their energy of their negative emotions. :D

I Read some of this early on, when I was into my DSMP phase as many ppl were during that great 2020-2021 era- I don’t watch any of the creators from there anymore, besides maybe checking up on Jack and Tommy a few times whenever they’re on my recommendation- but I’ve come back to this when nostalgia hit me (lol- been 5-4 years) and wowsa- this series is honestly so good, it takes out the more controversial characters names, and the ones that are still named don’t feel like Minecraft roleplay characters- it feels like an immersive real sci-fi world- and has such a developed religion and researched space items and stuff- helps that each fic is one chapter and usually around 20k +, really immersed me. I first read this when I was 12? 13? Now I’m an adult, and it’s still one of the best fics from this time, and still updating. Looking forward to new updates and the continuation of this- should they come ^^

Also I just am a sucker for ‘humans are space orcs’ and anything similar, and the ‘Human Tommy’ tag- specifically for space AU’s, used to be one of my favs, even if it wasn’t very popular ^^

"So Atsushi-chan, how old are you?"

Atsushi stares for a short while, seemingly not used to human interaction, not answering. So Dazai continued.

"Well, I'm 22, but people usually don't care much about age once you're old."

    "I'm seven"

    ◇◇◇

Atsushi is a child no one would ever want, and nobody ever has. A demon boy with no heart and no soul, someone who makes peoples lives worse by being in it, an manifestation of misfortune.

So he simply can't wrap his head around Dazai-san and the other detectives who inserted themselves into his life.

    Summary

After emerging victorious in Third Life, Grian wakes up at the start again. Time has been rewound, the game has been reset. But now, Grian is carrying the weight of a victory that feels like a loss, and he doesn’t intend to play to win again. This time, Scar has to survive, no matter the cost. If that means rewriting time, manipulating his enemies and friends both, and staining his hands with more blood than ever before? So be it.

I’ve been reading this since it had 9 chapters, it’s been my upmost favourite fic I’ve read in this fandom, how downright crazy Grian is, and how scar becomes so in turn, the interludes are brilliant, and show how many loops could be possible, and how they weigh down on Grian especially, being the only one to remember- I imagine Grian is doubly homocidal because of the repeating years and months, plus the addition of having died way more than anyone else in third life by now, as well as having been a red life so many times- does it build up? Is he crazy on his own, or does his time as red lives amount up each time to make things worse? Will scar winning end the loops? Will they go back to hermitcraft? Or will last life start immediately? would Grian remember the loops after that point? How long have they been gone for outside of the 3rd life world? Has it been years on hermitcraft, empires, etc? or does that loop as well? This is legit one of the best fics I’ve read for this fandom, and I’m so excited to see how it goes ^^

    Summary

He clicks on Gotham Wikipedia with bated breath. And it doesn’t take long for Peter to figure out just how bad the situation is. Gotham isn’t just a city, it’s apparently a hellhole. What kind of villain playground is this world running? How could anyone let it get this bad? Where is the government? Where are the heroes?

Peter’s heart swells at the thought. He needs heroes! They’ll be able to help him! The first thing that pops up is a website- JusticeLeague.Org.
    -
Peter, like any 14 year old superhero, really wants to catch a break. He's just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, nothing special. Well, only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. And his extensive track record of running away and deaths in his life. And that his foster-dad is Tony Stark. And that his mentors are the Avengers. And the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of different superheroes that keep stalking him.

He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool.

Really, really frickin’ long ass fic, written by a deity, so good, not even finished, barely begun,

Peter is like 14, looks like a Grayson mini-me, steals said man’s last name unknowingly, and is a little menace to the DC universe (DC is not used to Spider-Man… or Peter)
