"Wen Kexing!" Lei Ying whispers loudly, "Wen Kexing don't you dare go back to sleep and jus---"
His voice is cut off abruptly, so sudden that Wen Kexing tenses. The grip on her hand tightens so hard that Wen Kexing can't help but gasp, struggling to pull it away. She's not dumb, she can hear Lei Ying gurgle like he's choking on something - probably his own spit, he'll get himself in order soon - but she's very annoyed and slightly in pain at his persistence to keep a firm grip.
Wen Kexing knows something is very wrong when the grip loosens and she is able to snatch her hand away.
There's a weight on her body, a shift so sudden that her eyes snap open. Wen Kexing nearly chokes on her own breath at the sight that greets her.
It's the woman from the portrait.

Summary
What if the Kidnap Fam went back in time and stopped the Silmarils from ever existing? What if the Ambarussar and the Peredhil twins met? What if they were the same age? (Spoiler alert, it's in the name). Good mix of hurt/comfort and fluff (loooooots of fluff).
Edit: Abandoned and available for adoption upon request. My opinions of the Feanorians complexified as I got older and I really don't have the patience and drive to rewrite the whole story.
