He can feel her lips on his neck, trailing open-mouthed kisses across his skin. Or he thinks she’s pressing kisses to his skin, a small thought appearing in his mind that it feels more like she’s searching for something. It seems he was right to question why it seemed like she was searching for something when she finds her mark, the feeling of sharp fangs sinking into the skin of his neck suddenly making a yelp twist out of his throat with pain blooming at his skin like a flower just finishing blossoming under the gentle caress of the golden sun.
Her lips close over the bite mark gently, trying to reduce the pain he feels to a minimum by keeping the pressure of her lips light. She starts to suck gently, making a small noise of delight at the taste of the blood when it hits her tongue, taking a thick swallow.
Ah. She’s decided to have breakfast in bed today.

Morax looks down at his mangled hands, the vibrant red blood seeping through the woven fabric, tips of his fingers pale with anaemia.
"You're not listening properly, are you?"
"Nope"
Buer sighs and leans towards him, setting the clipboard aside. Taking his hand into his own, he begins to fix up his bandages, unwrapping for a tighter and neater cover.
"Take care of yourself more, keep yourself safe."I love you goes unsaid.
He no longer has any right to say it.
