This may either be the best, or the worst, decision he's ever made concerning the kind doctor, and only time will tell how good an actor the two of them really are.
Set in mid-season 5, after 'Let He Who is Without Sin...' and before Julian is replaced by the Changeling.

Summary
This fix-it modern AU follows Mairon Ainur and Melkor Bauglir through their lives, from their first meeting to leaving home and falling in love, getting married and becoming death metal superstars in their group 'Angband'. It's been my brainchild for over two years now, and here I will gather any and all pieces of their story that I put to paper, usually as gifts or for holidays. It has a plot, as their lives have taken many twists and turns along their journey through the world, including much about their past, their family troubles, their band, and the life they build with each other. It includes many other Silmarillion characters like Thuringwethil, Gothmog, Manwe, Aule, and Curumo. As 'fix-it' suggests, this story loosely follows (REALLY loosely) the plot of the Silmarillion but excludes most of the tragedy. It's my happy place to escape from the woes of canon. While much of what I post initially will probably be plotless snippets of fluff, I hope I will, in the future, be able to flesh out the published story to match what I have created in my mind for so long. For now, please enjoy any drabbles I gather here, and feel free to ask me about details of the AU (for a bit more, see the first fic in the series).

Summary
After Viktor and Jayce are dragged back to Runeterra by a force outside of their control, a recovering Piltover faces a new challenge: how do you imprison a god? Viktor has surrendered himself to the people’s justice, but is still the Machine Herald in form and function, a mechanical monster and boundless font of arcane power. Jayce is the only one who can see him as the man he was before, but he is also the only one who can answer to the other Councilors’ demands.
Jayce Talis was made famous for harnessing magic with technology. Now, he's being called upon to bind the god his work created, all while protecting him from the forces that would exploit him.

Viktor would think that this is some kind of afterlife, but he cannot come up with a hypothesis watertight enough to test that. The point is moot. If a lone tree falls, what difference does it make, in the end?
Viktor runs and falls and breaks and weeps.Viktor wakes up alone in an empty world, knowing that he would follow Jayce's ghost to the end of it and beyond.

“Jayce…” Viktor’s voice echoes, and it’s odd to have his voice come out unhindered when Jayce’s mouth is occupied, but it sends a shiver of something hot rushing down Jayce’s spine. “Do you truly want me even in this form?”
The question catches Jayce off-guard. He pulls back panting, his lips slick with his own saliva. His mouth tastes of metal. He knows what he should be be saying. What he should be doing. He has a mission, from Viktor himself, and it wasn’t this. Most definitely not this.
“I don’t care what you look like, Viktor.” His voice comes out frail, just above a whisper, wavering with emotion. “I just want you.”
