The distant crash of the waves rumble in sync with his stuttered breaths as he crosses the crest of the hill with a heavy heart, the horizon vanishing behind him, leaving only the steadiness of land to comfort him. Leorio and Kurapika don't seem too phased by it, but they don't know it as he does. They don't know how Gon's heart pumps saltwater and how his lungs were made for to hold, made to be submerged in violent depths.
When the Kiriko hoist them in their large claws, soaring at dizzying heights, Leorio shouts something about not looking down.
But Gon is only looking to the sea, always to the sea.

Summary
Gon drags Killua into a D&D game with the gang. Killua becomes an eager participant once he learns that this presents a new vector through which he can mess with his favorite person. Quickly, though, as he reflects on where they are and how they got there, Killua starts confronting some very confused feelings.
All because of a stupid game.
And no, Leorio, Killua is NOT GAY so why don't you mind your own damn business? Fuck you.

Summary
It could have been just a regular Thursday, but then it was not. Killua had a heavy fight with his abusive family, again. Still regular, but that time Killua decided that he had enough. He left home, angry, lonely and sad. He ignored the pleases of his crazy mother and the threats of his obsessive brother. He took a train and went to the closest city. He also took a random bus, he wanted to get lost. He arrived in a small city. There was an autumn festival, dozens of stands with small activities to do and stands that were selling handmade crafts. One particularly got his attention: a small stand held by a beautiful young man, about his same age. He had a pumpkin carving stand, and no one was really looking into it. He felt kind of bad for him, so he decided to get closer and the young man lit up.
