“Oh, you got a mouth on you,” Dreads(as Zanka’s dubbed him in his head)mocks him, jutting out his bottom lip in an exaggerated pout. “What, you gonna call daddy to come beat me up?”
Zanka feels the anger bubble up inside him at the comment, hot and cloying as it courses through his veins—and decides he needs to go home, right now, or someone’s getting punched. “Fuck you. I’m leavin’.” Then he turns on his heel to march to the back door of August’s house.
“Yeah, call your limo, pretty boy!”
Okay. That’s enough.
Zanka turns back around, cocks his arm back, and decks the guy in the face.
Or, alternatively: How the meet-ugly of the goddamn century catapults newly broke college student Zanka Nijiku head-fucking-first into the strangest, weirdest, most evilly convoluted situationship of his life.

Summary
Rudo meets a new girl in school and suddenly understands why a lot of life revolves around romance. Only problem is, when he asks Enjin if he can start dating, he is met with "Not unless your brother does." Which is BULLSHIT because who would want to date uptight, overachiever, major bitch Zanka? He's gotta come up with a plan, and fast.
Luckily... there might be someone nuts enough to want to try out a date with Zanka. Rudo just has to find a way to convince insane chemistry genius Jabber Wonger to take his brother on one shitty date. Then Rudo is in the clear. Surely, nothing could come of one shitty date.

Summary
Zanka knew that carrying out a relationship with a Raider as a Cleaner would be complicated. He knew he'd have to be careful. More than careful. He'd have to be perfect- no matter what, no one could find out about the truth. Not when he knew what the consequences would be.
Naturally, he slips up anyways, accidentally mentioning Jabber's name at HQ, and it’s all over.
Except its not. Because there's good news and bad news.
The good news was that Zanka hadn't actually said Jabber's name. Instead, he'd said a nickname. A nickname that nobody knew referred to Jabber.
The bad news was that now all the Cleaners thought that Zanka had a girlfriend named Abby, and if he wanted to keep his job, his family, and his relationship with Jabber, he was going to have to keep up the charade.
What could go wrong?

Zanka's getting real sick of Jabber having the upper hand. No matter the occasion, no matter what area, the Raider always seemed to be one step ahead. And it seemed like it was going to stay that way.
At least, until a strange encounter reveals one of Jabber's potential weaknesses. Gentle affection.
This was Zanka's chance. He could finally get one over on Jabber. If it weren't for one tiny problem. Zanka's own weakness: these strange, soft feelings he's been having for Jabber.
But it's fine. All he has to do is suppress them, squish them down. Out of sight, out of mind. He was going to get a win against Jabber, a win that counted.
You see, in spite of everything, Zanka hasn't exactly learned to stop being arrogant.
It'd be fine. He can do this. Jabber won't ever have to know about these feelings.

Jabber had a good handle on things. He knew what he wanted. He knew how to get it. And recently, he knew what Zanka wanted. And he knew that he really wanted him to accomplish that (beating the hell outta Jabber). So when he wants to see Zanka laughing his head off without a care in the world, he decides the new toxin he's come across is perfect for their next fight.
But that's not exactly how it happens. Because Jabber Wonger is a scientist that doesn't like to follow all the rules.
And when the consequence of that ends up being him having to trip sit a very clingy, overly affectionate Zanka?
Well, he's not gonna regret it now.
This is not gonna permenantely affect him at all. He'll be fine. He can handle it.
