Summary
Santana has grown quite similar to a Red Bellied Black Snake. Normally, she’ll be more withdrawn. But as soon as she’s provoked, she won’t be afraid to unleash a venomous bite.
On the other hand, Brittany is similar to the Mourning Cloak butterfly. Distinctive, graceful, and beautiful.
Naturally, the snake and butterfly would be hostile towards one another due to snakes commonly eating butterflies. But in their case, it’s the complete opposite. They’re loving and would stop at nothing to protect one another.

Summary
Santana copes by using different destructive methods, doing whatever necessary to numb herself and keep everything in. But, she’s reached that point again and can’t stop it from happening. Santana doesn’t even want it to.
Brittany copes with rituals and restrictions, ignoring the thoughts polluting her mind. But, she’s also reached a point passing normal concern. Brittany has a hunger. And it runs even deeper than the physical starving. Yet, she can’t bring herself to satisfy that hunger.
