“Hi everyone! So, for those of you who don’t know me, my name is Carlos and I’m fourteen years old. I was born on the Isle of the Lost, and I am currently attending Auradon Prep as a freshman. I’m posting this video because I’ve noticed since we came here that a lot of people in Auradon don’t really know anything about the Isle. And, like, there’s a lot of things here that are really different, and it’s been really confusing trying to figure out Auradon culture and stuff, but it's also been really interesting. But I realized that no one here has ever had the chance to learn about what it’s like to live on the Isle, beyond what they put in the official press releases and stuff. And the Isle has only been a thing for twenty years or so, but it’s like, super isolated, and it definitely shows. We have completely different slang, completely different clothing styles, completely different school subjects, pretty much everything is completely different. So I thought I would see if people wanted to learn more about the Isle? If you’re interested go ahead and put your questions in the comments. Whatever you want to know, go ahead. Ask me anything.”

She smiles at him, breathtakingly beautiful, walking toward the rec room to wait for him to be done. Her gaze breaks from his as she reaches the entryway and her body goes still, mouth gaping a little. His hackles start to raise.
“Joyce? Is everything okay? Did something hap-” She motions for him to shush and come over.
‘Walk quietly.’ She mouths. He obeys, keeping his boots as quiet as he can on the linoleum floor. He gets to the doorway and finds what she’s gawking at.
It's Steve, and that Munson boy. Lying on the too-small WSQK couch, dead to the world.
