Summary
A porcelain vase flew through their window, blurred by speed, and the cheering laughter of teenagers. It crashed in the centre of their room, shattering into tiny pieces. With it went Karamatsu's mirror, cracks drawing across the surface at the force.
Todomatsu screeched. That would have hit him, not a minute ago. It could have hit any of them, realistically, if they weren't boxed into the corner of the room.

“Natsu,” Zeref said, worrying his lip between his teeth, “She’s dangerous, be careful.”
“It’s fine, relax,” he said. He walked up to her and crouched down to her view, feet digging into the dirt, “what’s your name?”
She snarled, launching like she’s trying to bite his nose off. There were tears in her eyes, a beautiful brown that drew him in, “like I'd tell you, vampire.”

Lea hesitantly took his eyes off Isa, and tilted his head in confusion.
"With what?""When he wakes up," Ienzo said slowly, as if considering his words, "I have a feeling he won't want to talk much. I know talking about my experiences was, a little difficult at first."
His voice dulled under the sound of rusted clogs turning in Lea's head.
"So, you want me to try and talk to him?"Ienzo nodded, "It seemed like the best choice; if Isa was to open up to anyone, it would most certainly be you."
OR
Isa has a lot to make up for, now that he's a somebody again. Lea is willing to give him a chance.

Zoro's chest still moved up and down, slowly but surely, but far too slowly for Sanji's shot nerves. He double- triple checked his breathing enough that his own breathing followed its pattern unwillingly. Until he had to force himself to sit back in the chair without reaching out and hovering a palm above the swordsman mouth, to feel the short puffs of air own his skin and be absolutely sure that he hasn't stopped breathing even for the shortest second-
Maybe checking again wouldn't hurt, it's better to be safe than sorry after all.

Yikes.
He looked… not great.
The mirror showed a paler version of himself than he’d expected. Fatigue had left bruises under his eyes. The cold bit through him once again.
Dick reached for a thermometer.
97.2 oF.
No fever. If anything, he was running a little colder than usual.
Probably overwork, then. Dick groaned. He hadn’t even been doing anything crazy lately. He must’ve been getting old. Was this how Bruce felt after patrol?
Fine. Shower, then sleep. He’d feel better in the morning.

Caleb was laying, limp like a doll, on Beau’s back. Molly was reluctantly impressed that she’d seemingly carried him all the way back here. Overshadowing that, however, was the concern for their wizard. Caleb looked like he’d narrowly escaped a house-fire. His face was covered in soot and dried tear tracks ran down his ash-stained cheeks. He was pale as a ghost and even in unconsciousness, he seemed to tremble faintly. Molly couldn’t tell if that was from exhaustion, terror or an overuse of magic, though. Maybe even all three.
Or: After the fight with the Volstrucker, everyone is exhausted. Molly helps in any way they can.
