Summary
Everyone talks about how hardship and pain was part of life, something like basic rules, but nobody warned her about how a heavy feeling could settle deep in her stomach. The weight of memories so old, it’s choking her awake and pleasing her at night. She tried to combine both past and present life. The all loving Mitsuri and a more selective Marinette in one lithe and frailer body. A fight between herself before and after remembering there was a time demons existed. A time were she could hold her lover, feel her warmth, enjoy her touch. Now, only loneliness caused by Shinobu’s absence grew in her stomach. And to make it worst, Hawkmoth got rid of those supposed restraint he had. Not to mention school. Her only solace was her dear friend, Kagami. Even tho, she felt this strange tug on her heart, as if a red string linked them together, Wisteria and lavender becoming her new favourite thing. Sometimes, she could swear she saw purple tips in her friend’s hair.

Nancy stares. And stares.
She wants to tell Robin, don’t offer your hand to me. If I hold it now, I might never let go.
She wants to tell herself, religion has taught you to be merciful. So be that. Let her go. Don’t take her hand when you might rip it clean off.
or: Robin is Nancy’s safe place.

“Is that ok?” Robin whispers.
“Is what ok?”
“This,” she says, nodding in Nancy’s direction. “Are you ok with this?”
“I don’t know. But.. I think I feel–”
“So fucking good, huh?”
Nancy bursts into a short laugh. “All your poetry just went down the drain.”
“Well,” Robin says matter-of-factly, “it’s the truth isn’t it?”
Nancy pauses to breathe in Robin’s scent. She smells like her denim jacket and the slightest touch of shampoo and – maybe she’s imagining this – sweet honey. Whatever this thing is that’s fluttering in her chest – “I don’t want it to stop,” she says.

Nancy and Robin are scared to be alone right now, although technically, there's no one else in the house. Silence leads to talking leads to something more.
