Summary
Long ago, the three Kingdoms- Mushroom, Koopa, and Beanbean, were gifted a Star- a source of their prosperity and power. The Star Spirits intended for these Stars to be used for good, to be a beacon of hope for each land.
King Morton Koopa had other plans.
Now, years later, the Koopa Kingdom is a shell of it's former self, and stories of the monstrous Darkstar have faded into myth and legend. Morton's son Bowser plots his Kingdom's return to form and the Mushroom Kingdom's princess, Peach Toadstool, prepares to step up as the nation's ruler.
And two brothers live their lives, unaware of the role they will have to play in the coming days.

Once again, New York seems to be a haven of paranormal activity, and once again Dana Barrett seems to be at the center of it.
This fic is a rewrite of Ghostbusters II and is based heavily on Channel Awesome's video "What if Ghostbuster's II Was Better?" presented by Rob Walker. The basic premise still exists, but I have added my own spin on the story. Pairings will include Egon x Janine and Peter x Dana.

Summary
When the Ghostbusters get called on a routine bust, they don't think anything of it, not even when the ghost in question seems to disappear without a trace. However, when Egon begins to act very strangely, the team may have to accept that this bust will be anything but routine. Peter, Ray, and Winston may be forced to play by the ghost's rules in order to get him back.

There is a strange door in the Niben Bay. Driven by strange dreams and an obsessive certainty that whatever lies behind the door will have the power to undo her lover's death, Sorona Vausier - Hero of Kvatch, Champion of Cyrodiil, and quasi-widowed mother to the infant last Septim - sneaks away from the Imperial City and, against all common sense, crosses the threshold of Madness, which the Amulet of Kings warned her against long ago. But the Shivering Isles are suffering a crisis of their own, one that even a Hero would be hard-pressed to solve.
But a god? Well, that's a different story altogether. All Sorona has to do is give up that pesky thing called mortality, and possibly forget the very grief that led her into the Isles to begin with.
Surely the Madgod's mantle - and power - are worth what she has to do to keep them...
