Summary
The heavy smell of ozone permeates the air, and Eddie can feel it here in the darkness: lightning struck the house. He starts to panic, starts to anticipate the pain and the draining feeling of a full outage. It’s been years since he’s had to go through one. It occurs to him a moment later through the haze that the last time one happened, Volt wasn’t around yet.
Volt. He has to find Volt.
The pain he was expecting doesn’t come. In fact, their connection starts to pulse and ebb under his skin and Eddie almost wants to scratch at himself. He feels jittery. He feels hot. The lights click back on, and they’re brighter than they have been in weeks, droning with overwhelming power.
Eddie tries to find Volt in the crowd of confused and worried patrons, and he hears two light bulbs pop in quick succession. He looks over in the direction of the sound, near the stairs to their loft apartment, and sees Volt down on his knees, one fist bracing himself against the wall and the other wrapped tightly around his own torso. He’s trembling and panting and blushing cyan down to the collar of his shirt.

From Exposed Wiring, Chapter 1:
"I do want you to take the night off if you win our little bet, Eddie. You need the rest and you deserve it. But if I win the bet," Volt shrugs his shoulders and looks up at the ceiling as if he truly has to think about it; as if he hasn't been sitting on this idea all morning or perhaps longer. "I would want you to take the night off anyway."
"What? Where's the fun in that for you?"
"You didn't let me finish, spark. If I win," Volt releases Eddie's hand and slinks around the bar to stand behind him. He's close enough to breathe on the back of Eddie's neck, but he doesn't touch him. Eddie stays frozen in his seat rather than turning around and shivers when Volt whispers his response. "I want you to take the night off like I do. Tied up. Delirious with pleasure. Waiting for me."

Summary
“Why weren’t you in bed, spark?”
“I didn’t want to wake you up. You looked like you needed the rest.”
“Nonsense.” Volt tilts his head and grins. “I can think of no less than a dozen ways that I would have loved for you to have woken me up this morning.”
Eddie’s brows raise high on his forehead. “I’ll… keep that in mind.” His fingers fidget where he still has them wrapped in Volt’s clothes. After thinking it over for a minute, he pulls his hands back to his own chest. “I was also keeping in mind… the bet.”
“The bet? …You were serious?”
“Weren’t you?” Eddie asks.
A nervous look passes over Volt’s face. He takes another step back and pushes both of his hands up and through his electric hair. He sighs. “Why don’t we fix the power and then talk about it?”

Or, the morning after the events of Shocking Garters, Eddie brings up how Volt said he didn't think Eddie could keep his hands off of Volt for a week. Only time will tell if they can make it through, or if they deeply regret their decision.

And then last night I was watching the new Smosh Reddit Stories and Damien Haas (voice of Jerry) joked "The sink called me babe???" and it got me thinking about Sinclaire's relationships with other objects, and thus this list was born.
