Summary
Tom Riddle is an astounding student, his peers respect him, he has powerful magic and not to mention immortality. The only thing he's missing is money and a name that actually means something, at his current trajectory he'd probably end up some no name clerk in a rundown shop and have to consolidate power in secrecy, the secrecy he was okay with but working some lower end job he was not. Lucky for him that there's a new student in their year, one who seems to be the key to avoiding grunt work for the rest of his life.
Harry Peverell is a regular Ravenclaw who just happens to be the only heir to a pureblood family with overflowing vaults, he's got average grades, he's not particularly interesting, and he has no manners. He's so average its suspicious.
