Summary
Nia is the new kid on the block – new to Catco, to journalism, to National City, and- oh, yep, new to the Superfriends. After a chance run into Ky on, she finds herself swept into the now-settled world of the Exodus expanded family… for better or worse.
For Ky, time marches on - unrelenting. The Exodus I launched over a decade ago, and the Exodus II returned almost five years later. Ky graduated middle school, high school, and undergrad (leaving all in slightly more singed states than she found them). And now, on the other side, the bright spots and dark corners seem to shrink in the face of the now - her sister's mask, her aunt's cape, and a triad of parents who want nothing more than to support her... even if the cape and mask come with unavoidable weight.
A look into the Monsters universe in the season 4 context. This takes place several years after the events of Where Monsters Belong, putting Nia closer to Ky’s age than Kara’s, and includes some fun cameo’s from a new set of characters including Supercorp Kids and Ky’s Girlfriend, and whichever crew I drag outta the original plot because my mind is a maze of OCs that only y’all care about.

“Hey,” she stuffed her free hand into a pocket, careful not to let her duffle bag slip. “I’m here.”
Lucy hummed over the phone, like that was only mildly interesting. “And by here you mean…”
“Ah,” she glanced down, noting the dozens of stories below her boots. “I’m technically on their property?”
“’On their property’ implies that you are physically on the ground.”
“I’m… in their airspace."
“Which… that counts.”
“Sure.”
There was a very long pause. Long enough that it made Ky itch. Which, she knew, was exactly the point. Of all her parents, only Lucy had mastered this particularly annoying skill – silence. Letting someone stew, letting a Danvers stew, in the quietude until it ate away at their defenses leaving them-
“I’m fine,” absolutely fucking useless. Vasquez was going to make her go through espionage training again, she could just feel it.
Clark calls in a favour that only Ky is available to fill, leaving her alone with Lois and the twins for the foreseeable future. What could go wrong?

Summary
Oh oh oh! Look! Another story that I've teased for literal years and actually had a bunch of content prepared!
I therefore present: A part written long-form fic in which a grown up Ky falls back in time to before the Exodus and meets her family.
Featuring early Director Sanvers (i.e., before they are out as a triad, but are already together), Agent-Suspicious-Danvers and her inability to relax a quarter of an inch at this new alien, over-excited Kara who gets a new superhero friend, Mon-El Bashing (in the most real way guys), and a little bit of angst around the edges. Just for flavour.

Summary
Post Where Monsters Belong, Thanksgiving rolls around in that ominous, demanding way familial holidays do, and Alex submits herself to going back to Midvale to see her mother. But, it already sucks, because Lucy isn't welcome and, yep, Kara's been delayed and how the hell did this end up being Alex, her daughter, one half of her relationship, and her mother alone in a beach house with nowhere to hide?
And just when Alex had accepted her stressed, awkward, fate, she runs into an old... friend? crush? Girl who stopped talking to her after The Events and is now inviting her to a reunion of high school drama? Sure. Why not.
One of my older, more contained stories that never found an ending, so I never posted what I'd prepared. It is one of my less intense plots though, so there is hope.

Summary
In the Monsters Universe, things have settled into a new normal. Ky is Supergirl, Dax is slowly hunting every slaver left in their corner of the universe, Lucy is inching towards General, Maggie is shoving the NCPD into the future, and Alex runs the clinic.
It works. Everything is going smoothly.
So, of course, when Alex falls into another universe, she is less than surprised.
This is my favourite WIP story folks, I think about this more than the core stories. Literally, this story is just "what if the Monsters versions of the core family unit fell into the actual Supergirl cannon in season five (ish - I didn't actually finish the show TBH)?"
Includes Alex being uncomfortable with a softer version of herself, Maggie / Lucy latching onto the hilarity of alternate-Alex choosing ex-military Kelly Olsen, Ky and Dax enjoying a chance to be sisters, Dax confronting a still pro-Mon-El Kara, everyone side eyeing Supercorp and their failure to launch... just so much potential. I'm having such a good time with this one.

Summary
Alright folks - not sure if you're going to hate me or love me for this, but I realised that I'd rather do it and regret it than never do it at all.
This series is designed to be a place for my un-finished work to live. This means, unlike my long form fics which I was / am reasonably confident I could complete, works posted into this are not necessarily in the same boat.
I reached a point where I realized that, while I think about the Monsters universe daily, I don’t have the time or energy at this stage in my life to commit to writing like I once did. However, as many long-time readers will know, I have literal hundreds of thousands of part finished works and, personally, I’d rather share them with y’all for your enjoyment now, than let it rot in my computer any longer.
I make no promises about finishing any of these stories. I make no promises about the quality of these stories. I don't even make promises that they will comply with my own damn canon! But I do promise they are part of the labor of love (and insanity) that is The Love of Monsters... and I hope that's enough for now.

Dr. Kiramman steers her through the chaos and plants her in a chair. Does something to her arm that hurts like fuck, then drapes her in bags of ice and wraps her in a sling. Blinds her with a pen light—“Called it,” she mumbles when he confirms she’s concussed—and presses two pills and a warm mug into her hand. It smells herbaceous. Familiar.
“I brought the good stuff from home,” Dr. Kiramman confesses, and it takes her a moment to understand he means tea. “Extra honey for you. I know you haven’t acquired the taste.”
He’s right in that she only actually drank it once, the first time it was offered—the afternoon they spoke to the Council, several lifetimes ago. But she tasted it just this morning in Caitlyn’s mouth, grassy and sweet. So she pops the pills and takes a sip. Tries not to think about whether that terrified kiss over breakfast was their last. “I want to see her.”
After the war, Vi and Cait recover, and rebuild.

Summary
Rumi moans lightly as Zoey sucks a tired hickey into her neck. Zoey hadn't even been aware she had been doing it and pulls away with an apologetic kiss to her demon’s neck.
“Good morning.” Rumi mumbles into her ear, her voice scratching from sleep. The demon tucks her muscled arms up and over Zoey’s shoulders, her hands caressing the back of Zoey’s head.
Zoey swears she hears “Joh-eun Achim”. It’s ‘good morning’ in Korean. She hears it every morning she's in bed next to the demon. It’s mumbled into her ear because Rumi is like an anxiously attached koala in her sleep.
She hears it the same today and notices no difference at all.
But what Rumi really says is, “good morning” in a horrible accented English.
Or, two idiot gays learn English for their American-Korean girlfriend.
