As confident as Kylo had seemed about taking power, she doubted that high-ranking members of the First Order would automatically give him control of the First Order. He was powerful enough in the Force to make them answer to him, but that power was useless if he was unconscious.
A terrible idea formed in her mind.
(Or: A TLJ AU where Rey takes an unconscious Kylo Ren back to the Resistance. Neither of them are prepared for what happens next.)

Summary
When the footage of the interrogation leaks, everyone is sympathetic at first. They commend Rey for being brave in the face of Kylo Ren’s cruelty.
The only person with a different reaction is Poe. “He wasn’t gentle like that with me,” he grumbles, giving Rey a look that is a mix of confused and suspicious with a hint of jealousy.
She doesn’t know how to respond, so she turns back to the transmission that’s playing on a loop, and she can’t hold back her soft gasp when Kylo takes off his mask. She remembers expecting to see a monster and instead being surprised by a man far prettier than any man she’d ever seen on Jakku.
The reaction is as inappropriate now as it was then. She bites her lip, and she wonders how his lips taste.
(Or: reylo make porn and save the galaxy—in that order.)

That one where Obi-Wan and Anakin never sever their Force Bond, break a table and fly off into the Coruscant sunset.
Anakin and Obi-Wan run off together (dramatically), Dooku makes better choices with his life (mostly), Palpatine doesn't get why nothing is going according to plan (constantly), negative things happen to Temple furniture (accidentally), and the galaxy is never the same again.
[ Dooku signs a treaty, Anakin adopts Yavin, vod'e, Force ghosts, rescued slaves, Force sensitive children and families, and anyone and anything else he can convince to come with him. Obi-Wan just rolls with it with an annoyed sigh. ]
