SO GOOD.
The writing style and tone is on point and everything is just full circle. Its so narratively amazing that jk rowling read this and started weeping. They are Idiots and Stupid. Can you imagine being this dense. Harry was just so like. Dude was pulling every other move than just saying “i love you”. But the characterization was done so well and consistently like the grasp on them and what they would do is so in character and its just WOW
So immersive that i was walking around with the mental weight of being a single dad with no school to enroll my kid in and a dead end job.
The very real discrimination is just chefs kiss. Very well done.Usually i hate fake relationship stuffs, because sometimes its very like nothingburger situation where they dont really need to be doing allat (and because one of my friends tried pulling this one me?? since then ive disliked the trope), but this was done so well and perfectly and amazingly omg im just. OMG. It really worked here and im so glad i got recommended this!
Probably has to be one of my top fics now. I love this.
