As they slowly become friends, Lynette has to try to balance her crush with trying to be a good friend, but it just seems to get more and more difficult.

However, when a certain fixer offers her what he's calling the 'job of a lifetime', how could she possibly pass that up?A retelling of nomad V, in which she's a Shiv from a clan called Overdrive. This fic focuses on relationships with characters, and their effect on Valkyrie moreso than the canon plot. However, The Heist is very much still a mission, except The Relic is destroyed, and Johnny Silverhand never returns.
