This is a story about four kids who have every reason to shut the world out and choose each other instead. About the slow, stubborn work of healing. The nightmares, the panic, the guilt, the shame. The days when getting out of bed is a victory. About found family that grows in the spaces left behind by the people who failed them. About adults who learn to show up, classmates who learn to listen, and love that doesn’t demand perfection.
They’re not okay. Not yet. But they’re trying. Together.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku is a quirkless teacher at Musutafu Shōgakkō, who's loved by his students, looked upon with disdain by adults, and whose claim to fame is that he's best friends with Todoroki Fuyumi.
Is it the life he envisioned for himself at fifteen? Not by a long shot, but he's content; he's done well for himself, considering his condition. However, when Serenity Hero: Shoto comes to the school to give talks on pro-heroes, old wounds open up—forgotten dreams of saving lives, just like All Might—and Izuku is reminded of what could've been, had he been born different.
It's okay though, because Shoto teaches him that not all heroes have a quirk, and sometimes, heroes need saving too.
