You don’t miss the self-absorbed aspect to the question though, which might be part of why he’s looking for self-improvement books. “Should I?”
“No, it’s fine.” He grabs his book and shoves it into the duffel bag hanging off his shoulder, and it takes every ounce of self control to not wince. “Thanks again.”

When the Frontman decided to go into the games as Young-il, he thought his biggest obstacle would naturally be Seong Gi-hun. But where 001 is the foil to 465, 088 is the hidden wrench in his plans. He did not account for that.He did not account for her at all.
Player 088 San Nilar follows a doctrine of three: protect her brother, die here over living out there, and never turning back. Simple, unattached, and focused.
Safe to say, she did not account for 001 either, nor just how deeply he'd want to sink his hooks into her.
