Summary
Phoenix was unable to stay conscious, he would open his eyes, a different time would show through the window, and as soon as he woke, his head would fall back and he would be gone for another..few minutes? Hours? Days? He wasn't sure.
However, this time, he felt a soft gentle poke of his forehead.
He wasn't sure what it was, but he didn't have the strength to swat at it. He groaned, the best he could do to ask the offending pressure to leave.
And then again, and again, and-
“What?” He groaned out, and finally, he opened his eyes and-
“H-holy sh-” his eyes widened, and he tried to move back, but the movement caused a cry to come out as he held onto the wound.
It was…a teenager? He wasn't sure, he wasn't a young kid, but definitely no older than 17. He had two weird hair strands sticking out of his hair.
(Zombie apocalypse au that follows the siblings relationship with Phoenix as he tries his best to keep them alive and hopefully find his group at the shelter or on the way)

Summary

Multiple murder cases cause the lives of the two men to become intertwined, and Phoenix and Miles must decide how far they are willing to go to discover the truth. Both of them quickly learn that the ensuing journey will lead them much deeper than they had thought.

“Edgey!” Larry’s tears started all over again. “Y-you’re the greatest guy I know!”
“I would do anything to help a client—but you’re special,” Miles smiled at him. “You’re my best friend. And you’re not going to jail on my watch.”
“Wonderfully put, Miles,” Gregory said. He opened his briefcase and got up from the couch, handing Larry a tissue. Larry turned to accept it, then threw his face back into Miles’ jacket, loudly blowing his nose against his chest. “I think you’ll do just fine.”

Phoenix Wright is a star prosecutor underneath the tutelage of the well-renowned and well-feared Manfred von Karma. “One more question, and then neither of us ever have to see each other again.” Phoenix almost laughed, a cold, harsh laugh that felt foreign even as he swallowed it down. Never see Edgeworth again? Did he really just say that? Yes. And it came as a shock to Phoenix—Phoenix, who had spent the better part of his life wanting nothing more than to reunite with the Miles he’d known—that he meant it. Because what was he doing? What sort of masochist spent sixteen goddamn years torturing themselves over a man who took every opportunity to prove that he didn’t care. Phoenix couldn’t keep doing this to himself. He’d go insane. “If Maya hadn’t been taken… If Franziska hadn’t been shot… would you have ever come back?”
Edgeworth’s grip tightened on his elbow. “No. I don’t think I would have. Certainly not for a very, very long time. Nor am I planning to remain here for long now that Miss Fey has been rescued. I only came because Gumshoe insisted that you urgently needed me.”
“You think that was the only time I needed you?”

Larry’s words were ringing in his head the whole time he sat in that accursed jet. He felt trapped inside that thing, helpless, unable to make it fly faster, horrified at the idea that he was too late.
Finally, the flight was over, and he stood in the Hotti Clinic, so dazed he couldn’t quite recall how he’d gotten there. He asked for Wright . . . He was there—in the ICU.
The moment he got cleared to visit Wright, he rushed to the room the nurse at the reception desk named, yearning to get an undeniable confirmation that Wright was, indeed, alive, but also dreading to find out just how badly he was hurt.
This idiot would be the death of him.This work fills the gaps in the Bridge to the Turnabout case from Edgeworth’s perspective as he tries to logic his way out of his inexplicable feelings toward Wright . . . Until it dawns on him.
It mostly respects the game's canon, except minor changes.

Phoenix Wright had never hated a person more in his life. Never felt the same seething, uncontrollable rage that boils in his bloodstream quite like he had for the past six months. Never wanted to sock another man in the jaw quite like he did in that moment.
He had made plenty of mistakes, but when his life effectively downward-spiraled in the span of half a year, something in him snapped.

Phoenix Wright never wanted for anything more in his life. Since that day at the classroom trial, all he wanted was to be by Miles' side. Platonically, of course. So when Miles Edgeworth was swept away to, god knows where, after the unfortunate death of his father, the two had made a promise to meet again.
Now, Phoenix was a college theater-major, with a pretty red-haired girlfriend to boot. But when he heard that "Up Incoming Demon Attorney" Miles Edgeworth now went to his university, his only logical reaction was to drop all of his hopes and dreams to attempt to reconcile with his childhood best friend.
But things can never be that easy, can they?
