Therefore he doesn't know that Miles Edgeworth has been up and about, doing better than he ever was. Life couldn't be better. The only thing that's been kinda iffy is this new up and coming lawyer. His name is Kristoph Gavin. He's been a thorn in Edgeworth's side. There's something off about him.
One day, while Phoenix is smoking outside the Borscht Bowl Club, he gets splashed by a car passing by. Frustrated, he demands the driver to watch where he's going. The driver stops and rolls down the window. A familiar face greets him and asks Phoenix if he wants to get a drink together.

Phoenix was unable to stay conscious, he would open his eyes, a different time would show through the window, and as soon as he woke, his head would fall back and he would be gone for another..few minutes? Hours? Days? He wasn't sure.
However, this time, he felt a soft gentle poke of his forehead.
He wasn't sure what it was, but he didn't have the strength to swat at it. He groaned, the best he could do to ask the offending pressure to leave.
And then again, and again, and-
“What?” He groaned out, and finally, he opened his eyes and-
“H-holy sh-” his eyes widened, and he tried to move back, but the movement caused a cry to come out as he held onto the wound.
It was…a teenager? He wasn't sure, he wasn't a young kid, but definitely no older than 17. He had two weird hair strands sticking out of his hair.
(Zombie apocalypse au that follows the siblings relationship with Phoenix as he tries his best to keep them alive and hopefully find his group at the shelter or on the way)

Phoenix couldn’t keep doing this to himself. He’d go insane. “If Maya hadn’t been taken… If Franziska hadn’t been shot… would you have ever come back?”
Edgeworth’s grip tightened on his elbow. “No. I don’t think I would have. Certainly not for a very, very long time. Nor am I planning to remain here for long now that Miss Fey has been rescued. I only came because Gumshoe insisted that you urgently needed me.”

Larry’s words were ringing in his head the whole time he sat in that accursed jet. He felt trapped inside that thing, helpless, unable to make it fly faster, horrified at the idea that he was too late.
Finally, the flight was over, and he stood in the Hotti Clinic, so dazed he couldn’t quite recall how he’d gotten there. He asked for Wright . . . He was there—in the ICU.
The moment he got cleared to visit Wright, he rushed to the room the nurse at the reception desk named, yearning to get an undeniable confirmation that Wright was, indeed, alive, but also dreading to find out just how badly he was hurt.
This idiot would be the death of him.This work fills the gaps in the Bridge to the Turnabout case from Edgeworth’s perspective as he tries to logic his way out of his inexplicable feelings toward Wright . . . Until it dawns on him.
It mostly respects the game's canon, except minor changes.
