The aggressive red lines mock him from across the room, drawing his eye no matter how much he tries to resist. Not only is it ridiculous, garish, but the damned audacity he has in drinking from it like it’s just another cup makes it impossible to think of anything else.
Alastor doesn’t hate many things, but seeing his artwork defaced and enjoyed by that damned clown is far more than he can stomach.

“And what exactly are we making?”
If looks could kill, Lucifer’s corpse would be repurposed into garnish for Alastor’s Old Fashioned by day’s end.
“You cannot be serious. Is your geriatric mind so addled by ducks and dicks that it’s forgotten why we’re here?”
“What type?” Lucifer clarified. “Whiskey, tequila, that green stuff that makes you hallucinate?”
“Bathtub gin!” Alastor sang, summoning his band of shadow puppets to play a jazzy melody for their singular audience member. “Moonshine, white lightning, hooch. And my personal favorite–” he continued, sliding onto the couch beside Lucifer and slinging an arm around his shoulder “–coffin varnish, due to the ~poisonous~ risks associated with shoddy homemade liquor.”
“Are we making it in the bathtub?” Lucifer asked, highly interested in the idea of sharing a bath with Alastor.
After sweet Charlie’s efforts to boost redemption rates results in a ban on alcohol at the Hazbin Hotel, resident dipsomaniacs Alastor and Lucifer find their own way to have fun.

Summary
After months together, Alastor's heat has come and Lucifer couldn't be more excited for this next step in their relationship. While he is honored to be invited into his Omega's nest, Alastor has become even more agitated and secretive in the final days of his pre-heat.
Alastor has made allusions to some mysterious thing that helped him get through his previous heats alone, but every time Lucifer digs for more information he's met with grumbling static and no answers.
As an Alpha, Lucifer is more than happy to provide whatever his Omega needs to have a successful heat, but he can only do that if Alastor would just tell him what it is.
