Vanitas liked to consider himself a practical man.
He liked to think that he was rather adept at overcoming unexpected situations, that he could react accordingly to any surprises that arose in his path. He had one goal in life, and it was as steadfast as it was all consuming. He didn’t need to think about anything else, didn’t want to think about anything else because nothing else mattered, not to him and not at all.
He had believed that for a long time, right up until now, as he sat rigidly on his usual spot on the roof, cheek still burning despite the cold.

He heard a contemplative noise from behind him that he had learned a while ago meant Sebastian was assessing his health.
"Here, young master," Sebastian said quietly, wrapping the wool coat on his shoulders tighter, as if that could help, as if he wasn't still just as wet as before. When Sebastian pulled his hand away, Ciel was dismayed to find himself automatically leaning with it, chasing the contact.
It had been a rough night. He hadn't slept yet. He doubted it meant anything.

No, Felix Hugo Fraldarius is far from immune to emotions. Glenn's death made him feel emotions. Dimitri's childlike laughter on the battlefield made him feel emotions.

Annette's voice makes him feel emotions.
Felix has also gotten good at compartmentalizing emotions, setting them aside, dealing with them later, and later, and later. But if "later" didn't exist for Glenn, for Dimitri..."later" definitely doesn't exist in wartime. What a shame those "emotions" still do.

Shoyou turns his head, leaning his ear closer.
He sniffles. “Of what? Of me?” He asks.
Kageyama is quiet for a long time. In that time, Shoyou’s breathing evens out some.
“I guess I’ve always been like a beetle,” he finally saysWhen a fight with his parents results in Shoyou dashing out into the snow blizzard without a place to go, chance has him stumbling into Kageyama out on his daily jog--and by extention--has him stumbling headfirst into his lonesome life.
When a storm keeps them locked in with nothing but each other as company a thousand things rise to the surface.
