Summary
Being so sure that the cold shadows that whisper in the corners of your room are far better company than the colder gazes of the people who should welcome you as their own. Sometimes being so delusional that you can't tell when someone is actually talking to you or if it's something else entirely that has decided that you were worth at least some kind of attention, rather than the brief looks others gave you, even if it came to cost you what little sanity you have left, if at all.
Lucky you, though, that you are left with more than enough to stay away from those who are supposed to love you unconditionally.
Days blur together, grey and monotone, till the day when, somehow, a red clown? barrels into your life and adds more color to it.

Summary
“That is where I am confused, dear thing.” Jester tilts his head and bells softly chime. You fight the urge to lift a hand and twirl a lock of his hair. From the few times it has brushed your skin, you know just how soft it is. There’s still hope that he’ll let you braid his hair. “Why be in our presence so willingly if you know? Why not run and hide? Why not bring a riot and burn us all the same?”
You frown. “That’s… happened?” Maybe the Ticket Taker’s mirrors had some more truth than you thought. “Was it… more than once?”
Jester’s pupils flash and grin tenses. “You can say that.”

Author’s Note:
I stumbled across The Freak Circuit just today, and I’ve already spiraled into obsession. It’s still in development, but I can’t get over the concept, the aesthetic, and the potential of its characters. The moment I saw Harlequin, I knew, yeah, I’m gonna write for him. So here we are.
Also, I feel like Harlequin has an incredibly pleasant voice, smooth, rich, and captivating. He knows exactly how to use his words, often speaking in a flirtatious, lyrical manner that draws people in. Since his performances revolve around storytelling, it's only fitting that his voice is one of his most powerful tools, charming, hypnotic <3Game Credit: The Freak Circus

All love and credit to their creation. Please support the game and read the description on their site before diving in, especially if you haven’t played yet. It’ll save you from confusion and spoilers.
Pairing: Harlequin x Florist!FEM!Reader (for the anxious girlies who feel their heart stutter at eye contact). MC is in love with Harlequin’s voice.

Summary
Being human comes with many perks. Being a cat also comes with perks. Switching between either one means you get the best of both worlds. And the worst, but the best parts cancel out the bad ones.
But one of Pierrot's favorite perks of being a cat is being able to spend time with his lady without worry of her becoming scared. He can come into her home as he pleases, sit on her lap as he pleases, even sleep in the same bed with her as he pleases. He can do anything and she'd never get mad. No one would.
Cats were once worshiped, after all.

Summary
Jester has always been an avid lover of books, and has recently fallen in love with the works of a fairly new author (Your Full Name), their most recent publication, Shattered Reflections, being his favorite. Unexpectedly, a writer appears at the circus entrance one night, asking to use the circus as inspiration for a new book they're writing. And who does this writer turn out to be? Why, none other than the Jester's favorite author.
