Summary
Ukyo's hearing is more sensitive than most. He can pinpoint the point of origin of a sound from kilometers away, he can interpret a distant muttering under the clamor of a battle, he can even hear the heartbeats of those around him. Ukyo's hearing is not just more sensitive than most people, it's more sensitive than most animals.
It's also far, far from natural.
Ukyo grew up as a test subject part of Japan's most well kept secret. His time in the JSDF was a brief and blissful escape, from which he dreaded his return. But just before he had to, a miracle—a tragedy—a worldwide petrification gave him a chance at freedom. A chance at normalcy. But between his own disdain for murder, a certain figure connected to his past showing up, and all this love of science and human advancement going around, everything seems to be working against him. Maybe he would be better off running away before he can be pulled back to his position as a lab rat.
tl;dr—In which Ukyo is a government experiment.

Summary
Joshua can speak two languages. English and Korean. Sure, sometimes he exaggerates his abilities and claims he can speak a handful of others but he never said he could speak those fluently. So where's the lie? Jeonghan would approve. Joshua would love to spend more time studying languages but he doesn't exactly have the space in his schedule for it. He tries though, he really does. Even Minghao is impressed with his ethic.
When he's asked by an interviewer what superpower he'd want, he answers with global multilingualism. When he's then asked to give an "actual" superpower he answers time travel. He'd be happy with either of them, he guesses. It's not a very important question to him considering how neither of those options is possible, it's just a fun thought experiment.
Turns out both is possible. Turns out it's not that great of a thought experiment.

He spends a few minutes focusing on the apartments surrounding his, eyes closed as he focuses. It barely takes any energy to make sure his upstairs neighbor's shoes aren't where they were left last night, or that his other neighbor's door will stick right when they try to leave with their hands full.
"You're just being rude," San will tell him. "Why make someone's day worse?"
Wooyoung always huffs at that.
"I'm just doing my job," he'll retort. "At least my job isn't to seduce and eat people."
Depending on San's mood, he'll pout, grin broadly, or make some similarly pointed comment about dokkaebi. It's something they joke easily about, with no real malice at this point.
