There's not much left aside from Izuku and Touya, the two of them against a country-turned-warzone. They only have each other, and Touya can't help it.     Touya is never going to take that risk, that chance of losing Izuku if he makes one misstep too daunting. But them Izuku almost dies, and suddenly they're hurtled into a past with a chance to save everyone and settle down somewhere safe, where they can be secure and together. And really, Touya just can't help himself.
