    But here he was, standing before me, larger than life. And worse no, scarier, I was Dick Grayson. My heart stuttered in my chest, from the grief, from the terror, confusion, and disbelief. The world around me spun again, like reality was collapsing in on itself.

    I staggered, my legs trembling beneath me as the realization crashed over me like a wave, suffocating and cold. My heart pounded in my ears, my breath shallow, too fast, too uneven. It didn’t make sense. None of it made sense.

    I was Dick Grayson, but I wasn’t at the same time.
