Harry has been complimented and praised openly in the wizarding world since before he knew he was a wizard, but it doesn't help his confidence when he can't take any of it at face value. They only see him as a Saviour with head Auror potential, Witch Weekly's most eligible bachelor, wealthy... He'd be stupid to take their lip service seriously.
So then why does a comment about Harry's new shirt feel so... different. And why did it have to be from Draco Malfoy?
