Summary
As Harry joins the Wizarding World, he starts to be reminded of wounds he can't even remember. He tries to play the role they all seem to want him to but things begin to unravel and he falls back on old coping mechanisms of dissociation. This is his descent into hell as he begins to remember his previous life as Anthy Himemiya. Healing isn't easy, it isn't linear and it requires help.
Or: A traumatized Anthy's perspective on going through the events of the early Harry Potter books.
OR: An exploration of dissociation, repressed memories, trauma, and the trauma of not remembering.

Summary
Emma and Mary Margaret get closer during the early part of season one. Mary Margaret slips past Emma's defenses and they fall in love. Thus, when Jefferson and August try to convince her that the curse is real, Emma digs in her heels and refuses to believe them. When Henry eats the apple tart, Emma falls apart.
This generally follows the beats of season one with a few added scenes (obviously) and a lot of added subtext. Once this idea popped into my head, I couldn't not see it in almost every interaction between these two in season 1 and early season 2. Some of the lines are just too perfect.
I don't think any archive warnings apply but it feels wrong to put "no archive warnings apply"

Shigaraki's eyes snapped open in shock, but the light made him hiss and squeeze them closed again before tears leaked. Izuku managed not to laugh as he continued. "More realistically, though, I'll settle for getting you healed up."
"Why?" Shigaraki all but whined. Izuku snorted.
"Because as long as you're injured, you're a patient, and thus under my care. But after that, you're just a bastard I can pawn off on actual heroes who get paid to deal with stuff like this." He explained, tone slow and condescending, because it was obvious.
