There’s something really wrong happening at Hudson Prep. Students are vanishing, janitors keep noticing weird noises after dark, and the new science teacher seems like he shouldn’t have ever been given a teaching license. But Frank Iero doesn’t care. He just wants to pass his junior year, make his mom proud of him, and maybe kiss a girl.
A wrench gets thrown into his plans in the form of Illi McMillin, his best friend’s weird older sister who is convinced that the strange occurrences at Hudson Prep are connected to the mysterious meteor crash at the abandoned factory outside of town, and who talks in sync with everyone she meets.
