Aoi groans at his statement. “Ugh, you’re never any fun!” Her stance tenders a moment later, and she wanders forwards a bit to catch his eyes and reach his ears. “Hey, how about you let yourself get a bit of fresh air for a few minutes at least?”
Byakuya stares at the documents on his computer, the minuscule script that makes his vision pulse and the standard print that makes his thoughts cloud and for a moment he wants to chuck it through the nearest window. He inhales and exhales a resigned breath, recognizing his own defeat as he wrings his fingers and cracks his knuckles and stands up to dredge his winter clothing out of the closet.
“Alright. I’m not going to be screwing around, though.”
Byakuya is forced into a bunch of childish games. He winds up screwing around despite his own volition.

Summary
He fails to notice the sound of somebody shuffling in their sleep. What he does notice, however, is the feeling of Naegi suddenly having his back pressed up against Byakuya's.
He freezes. The spot where their backs touch is uncomfortably hot. It isn't long before Byakuya's skin itches with the need to tear the blankets off and run away, but that thought has him gritting his teeth. He is a stubborn man. He considers it as one of his best qualities. However, there are some moments where his stubbornness would backfire horribly on him. Now is one of those times. No matter how hard he attempts to get irritated over the matter and simply move over, he doesn't.
He would never admit it to anyone, but he finds that he doesn't mind as much as he thinks he should. That is a dangerous thought to have, so he takes it and buries it deep within his mind. If he presses back against Naegi, well nobody would know, would they?
