A VampiresSMP AU that explores Majorscythe as something that started with romantic potential, though it's quickly twisted into something much more sinister once the power dynamic is established. The series as a whole is focused on Pyro and his dynamic with Scott, but each fledgling has time dedicated to them via their turning fics. Explores themes of sexual assault and Vampirism being an allegory for rape, specifically for Pyro. Reader discression advised, please mind the tags.
Also it takes longer for vampires to turn, and some of the townsfolk are less willing to just run off into the forest alone to look for beacons. Everything takes a little bit longer!

Summary
When Scott went to the trouble of finding a magic user to help him sustain his immortality, even against vampiric means of death, it seemed like a great idea. He wanted to live forever, and the magic made sure that a little stake of wood couldn't be the thing to do him in. Which was shown to be necessary, considering the attack on him that occurred soon thereafter.
Unfortunately, it seems that the upset masses scrounged themselves up a magic user too. No one so talented or skilled, of course. Only money can bring that. But the witch got their job done in a simpler way.
By enchanting the tomb they shoved him into to never open again.

Or: Scott was awake for the 600 years that he was locked in a tomb. No amount of vampirism or stubbornness can save him from the horrific effects of such sensory deprivation.

“It could be worse” the voice says flippantly, just out of view. “You could be haunting some buzzkill”
“You’re not real” Pyro mutters, turning away to walk deeper into the forest, hoping to find his way back to the path.
“And really” he continues, uncaring of Pyro, “It’s your own fault. Honestly, who on earth is stupid enough to walk into the night with two strangers?”
Pyro feels their fists clench.
“Oh. Ha! Well, I guess you are” He mocks, smiling. Pyro can’t see him, but they know he’s smiling. “No surprise there”
“You’re not real” Pyro repeats, swiftly shutting his eyes when he catches the glimpse of a figure standing beside him.

Summary
Technically, nothing is wrong with this picture. 14 humans gather in the remains of Oakhurst just shy of the 200 year anniversary of the massacre of some odd 2,799 people. But that's not quite right, is it? There isn't 14 humans. And they didn't all just get here. Some are much older, much angrier, much more dangerous than just having walked into town some foggy mid-morning.
Worse yet, some of them are conspiring.
