    I thought this was just a wonderful treat! What a fun read! The fic zagged so hard sometimes that I couldn't help but chuckle and I have to give huge props to the author for throwing so many great curve balls into the story. I couldn't see so many of them and that made each and every one a delightful treasure. The author was just friggin clever, that's all I have to say.

    Every supervillain has a nemesis. All for One’s nemesis is a boy who, although he has all the skills required for world domination, continues to use them to be a thorn in All for One’s side.

    Solution? Adopt.

    It does not go as planned. Now he has a fake nephew who is still determined to take him down (outside of the house, anyway—they somehow manage to be a fully functional family when All for One isn’t doing crime). He’s read plenty of parenting books and none of them explain how to stop your kid from destroying your criminal empire.

    OR: Izuku overthinks everything and intentionally gets himself kidnapped by All for One. Chaos ensues.

    I am enamored with this author. They are so fucking talented! I couldn't stop reading this fic and I'm so impressed with the author's ability to create a story that comes across as a crack fic but still has so much fucking heart and plot that it never quite goes over the line of "too much". The best thing about this is how amazing the author is at writing Izuku's internal narrative. it's perfection and I laughed so many times reading it. But even the other characters are just so "them" that it's hard to explain, AFO and Aizawa and Hitoshi all just so clearly have their own sense of self, their own voice, in this fic and it shines because of it. I love Izuku's chaotic nature in this and that as an 8-year-old decides you know what a hero would do, allow himself to be kidnapped by a supervillain to gather information. I love seeing the progression of AFO learning to love his fake-nephew. This fic just made me so happy. I'm so grateful it exists.

    I was so tickled reading this fic. I can't even begin to express how much joy I felt. It's such a simple concept and yet executed perfectly in my opinion. The different phrases each of them pick are so funny and bring levity to a fic that needs it considering the dark undertones of why they have the phrases in the first place. There are some great lines and I won't spoil anything but the little extra addition at the end was so wonderful. I was filled with warm goosebumps and became so grateful for this fic. It just filled up my cup. <3

    The possibility of One For All being sentient doesn't occur to Izuku at first. Honestly, his life would probably be a whole lot easier if it'd stayed that way. As if sharing his body with half a dozen spirits and trying to harness their stockpiled power wasn't enough, now they're starting to influence him. And he doesn't know how to make it stop.

    (Or: One For All is sentient and that's a problem. Really, Izuku just wants to enjoy some scrambled eggs.)

    This author is THE BEST!!! I wasn't sure how I would feel about this fic going in but I shouldn't have doubted!! Ahhh! So funny! I won't spoil it but there's a line that Izuku yells at All Might at the start of all this that well, I fucking cackled out loud for a while because that just hit right for me. Also, this ends up turning into a bit of a romance story and wasn't that a delightful surprise!

    This was one of those weird situations where I could have sworn I'd read this before but I clearly hadn't? The Matrix is fucking with me. But, it's a great story and well-paced plus it's nice to have Jiang Cheng at the center when he's emotionally capable. Growth!
