Hermione might have forgotten to mention that she would be alone for the holidays due to a few less than jolly circumstances. Something that Fleur rectified as soon as she found out - by immediately 'suggesting' that Hermione come home with her for Christmas. Which was all well and fine and lovely! Who wouldn't want to spend Christmas in France with their beautiful, wonderful girlfriend?
Except Hermione hadn't really met Fleur's parents yet (or all of the rest of her relatives) and would be staying at the Delacour chateau, surrounded by all of them. A whole flock of Fleurs.
Fleur promised a magical holiday and that her family was beyond thrilled to be meeting her. There was just also something about Grandmere that Fleur wouldn't expand on, and that wasn't suspicious at all. She only swore that it was nothing and Hermione would be fine...
