Summary
Now they were eating lunch in one of the small lounge areas. Seungmin isn’t a fan of eating in the large dining hall all the time. For being such a large room, it always feels too suffocating. The familiarity he enjoys with the king feels stripped away and all that's left is the formal political atmosphere. The lounge rooms are better, plus it's much easier to steal food off of Chan's plate when they are this close.
Chan wants to be productive in some form, but Seungmin knows he really doesn't know what to do to be productive, which brings Seungmin back to one of the questions from yesterday. There has to be a different way to go about this with the court–a different way to get them to agree to ban the omega bounty hunters. Perhaps there's something in the archives about the old meetings from previous courts.
It's been just over a month since they visited Seungmin's family and the small pin that he bought for Chan now sits just over his heart when he always wears it. Seungmin zeros in on it and remembers the conversation with the alpha vendor about old traditions and how things have changed since then. Which also brings up the other reasons Seungmin wants to visit the royal archives.

It was a fond sort of smile, one usually reserved for cute things like puppies; Seungmin was sure there was no club for that since dogs weren’t allowed on campus. Maybe it was dance? But he was already in his own team. The other boy presented the flyer with a flourish as Seungmin began to read the words.
He read it silently once, twice, before loudly exclaiming:
