   Summary

   During a battle with a curse-bearer who causes intense hallucinations, Noé is bitten. He lives a future that never was, only to realize when he comes to, that only a few seconds of reality have passed. It may have all been a dream, but it was real to him, and he now has to navigate what he's lived through in present time, but what feels like the distant past to him.

   Or, Noé lost Vanitas and has lived through many years of war, and now he's traumatized.

   Or, Noé has had many years to come to terms with his feelings for Vanitas, and Vanitas has to catch up. But a lot more nuanced.
