Summary
A studio apartment in a faraway city, warm and comfortable. A painter. Or an engineer; she was definitely smart enough. Not a cat or a dog - a rabbit, or a snake. A colorful, pretty life that she’s built all by herself, the same way Vi did, and when she’s ready, she’ll find her way back again.
Deep down, Vi doesn’t believe any of it. Of course she doesn’t. It’s been years since she accepted that the next time she’d see her little sister would be identifying her body.
So when the call comes, it doesn’t surprise her.
The voice on the other end does, though.

TRAILER : "You gotta pinky promise you won't leave me." She pouted offering her smallest finger to Ekko. Ekko exhaled, rolling his eyes to her attitude. She was forcing him into this, but he would do it anyways. "Okay alright, pinky promise." He put up his little finger as she excitedly turned back to him. "You can never break a pinky promise." She warned him in a whisper. Ekko squeezed his lips, ready to take the risk, after all it was just for a few days right ? "I promise, to not leave you." He assured her tightening the grip on their fingers. A huge grin gradually formed on her lips as she suddenly jumped on him, causing them both to fall backwards. "Thank you Ekko." She sincerely said.

Summary
After everything, life continues in pieces.
Threadbare is a collection of post-finale vignettes set in the spaces between recovery and ruin: moments of care that don’t fix anything, conversations that stop short, hands that linger because words won’t. Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, and Ekko move through the aftermath together and apart, bound by history, habit, and whatever remains unbroken. Some days are softer than others. Some threads hold. Some don’t.
In other words, I made Jinx extra sad and in turn made every other character also sad.
