Summary
Written from David Talbot's point of view. He was created (by Anne Rice) to be perfect for Lestat de Lioncourt. He is as beautiful as Louis, and has all the qualities that Lestat loves in Louis and none of the traits that irritate him. So what does David feel when the vampire he worships still prefers the flawed original to the new improved version? Takes place mainly in the interval between Tale of the Body Thief and Merrick. Intended as prologue to a longer work.
This is not totally compliant with Tale of the Body Thief, but Anne Rice vampires are ALL unreliable narrators who rewrite each others' narratives and call each other liars, so what really happened is up for grabs.

Can be read as friendship or as pre-slash. (Very pre-slash since Bunny is quite young here.) Also includes country house hi-jinks and jewel theft!
The title is more P.G. Wodehouse than E.W. Hornung, but at least I resisted the urge to give Blenkinsop the first name Theodorus.
Some period- and canon-typical xenophobic and/or racist comments, included because I don't want to whitewash the less attractive side of Raffles's personality or his milieu.

Thirteen is an intelligent, beautiful doctor with a complex past. She should be a vibrant, interesting person full of drive and ambition, but she isn't. Why is that? This story reveals the reason.

Gaius is running for president. He is secretly grieving after Hera's death, and has fallen in love with Gina, a Cylon infiltrator who looks exactly like Six. Too much stress and too many guilty secrets are taking their toll. Gaius is having a nervous breakdown, but because of his high general level of eccentricity, nobody seems to notice. Dr. Cottle's pills help - but maybe a little too much.
Written years ago. My version of Gaius's past does not match up with what Battlestar Galactica eventually revealed. I had fun making Aerelon the home of a rural serpent-handling cult, to make the contrast between his rustic past and sophisticated present more striking.
